<br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order
<br />at 8:00 F.M, on Wednesday, October 26, 1%6, bq Chairman Antonini.
<br />ROLL CALL showed the following:
<br />Present: Commissioners Arnold
<br /> Garrigan
<br /> Plato
<br />Chairman Antonini
<br />Secretary Falea
<br />Absent: Commissioner Johnston
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried,
<br />the minutes of the meeting of October 12, 1966, were approved as presented by
<br />unanimous vote.
<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the Planning
<br />Commission for an amendment to Section 8.01(9), Ordinance No. 358, which would
<br />require the underground installation of all telephone, telegraph, electric power
<br />and light facilities in subdivisions. Mr. Falea presented the staff report which
<br />recommended approval of the amendment to the Subdivision Ordinance, which basically
<br />changed the wording in the Ordinance to require underground installation of all
<br />utilities. Extraordinary circumstances would be considered as they arise. Upon
<br />motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, the
<br />public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of Chairman
<br />Antonini, seconded by Cooeair+aioner Atnold, the follcwrin~ roAOHrtinu,waa adopted
<br />by unanimous vote.
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 624
<br />WHERHAS, the application of the Planning Commission for an
<br />amendment to Section 8.01(9), Ordinance No. 358,
<br />which would require the underground installation
<br />of all telephone, telegraph, electric power and light
<br />facilities in subdivisions, has come before this
<br />Commission:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be approved.
<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the Planning
<br />Commission for an amendment to Section 5.05, Ordinance No. 358, relating to the
<br />dedication of utility easements and street rights-of-way, the provision of proof
<br />regarding the adequacy of utilities, acd the payment of fees relating to Ordinance
<br />No. 439, as a condition of approval of minor subdivisions or lot splits. Mr. Falea
<br />presented the staff report which recommended approval of this amendment. Upon
<br />motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, the
<br />public hearing was closed. After brief discussion, upon motion of Commissioner
<br />Arnold, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by
<br />unanimous vote.

<br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for an
