M I N U T E S <br />of <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />November 9, 1966 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at <br />8:00 F.M. on Wednesday, November 9, 1966, by Chairman Antonini. <br />ROLL CALL showed the following: <br />Present: Commisaionere Arnold <br /> Garrigan <br /> Johnston <br />Chairman Antonini <br />Secretary Falea <br />Absent: Commissioner Plato <br />IIpon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, <br />the minutes of the meeting of October 26, 1966, were approved as presented by <br />unanimous vote. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Frank P. Medeiros, <br />4758 Harrison Street, for a Variance from the provisions of Article 8, Ordinance No. <br />309, in order to construct an additional single-family dwelling on a parcel of <br />property at the above address, in an RG-15 District. It was determined to consider <br />the Zoning Permit in connection with this same application concurrent with the <br />Variance application. Mr. Falea presented the staff reports which recommended <br />approval of these applications subject to condition listed on both the Variance and <br />the Zoning Permit. Mr. Jerrq Ward was present in the audience, representing Mr. <br />Medeiros, and concurred with the staff report. Upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, <br />seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, the public hearing was closed. After <br />further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Chairman <br />Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />RHSOLUTION N0. 627 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Frank P. Medeiros, 4758 Harrison Street, <br />for a Variance from the provisions of Article 8, Ordinance <br />No. 309, in order to construct an additional single-family <br />dwelling on a parcel of property at the above address, in <br />an RG-15 District, has come before this Commission: <br />NOT4, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be approved subject to <br />condition listed in staff report. <br />After further diacuaeion, upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by <br />Commissioner Johnston, and carried, it was determined that the above named Zoning <br />Permit be approved subject to condition in staff report. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the Alameda <br />County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, 399 Elmhurst Street, Hayward, <br />for a Variance from Section 4.500, Ordinance No. 309, in order to construct a water <br />well and pumping station on property located southeast of the intersection of Santa <br />Rita Road and the S.P.R.R, right-of-way, in an A District. Mr. Fales presented the <br />staff report which recommended approval of this Variance. Mr. Stan Saylor, repre- <br />senting Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, was present <br />in the audience and concurred with the staff report. Upon motion of Commissioner <br />Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Aroold, and carried, the public hearing was <br />closed. After further diacuaeion, upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded <br />by Chairman Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />
