<br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at
<br />8:00 P,M, on Wednesday, January 25, 1967, by Chairman Antonini.
<br />ROLL CALL showed the following:

<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Commissioner Carrigan, and carried,
<br />the minutes of January 11, 1967, were approved with the following modification:
<br />RESOLUTION N0, 642
<br />WHEREAS, the matter of Consent to Proceedings Re: Applica-
<br />bility of City standards; Dublin Annexation, has
<br />come before this Cos¢aisaion:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: The City Planning Commission, at the meeting of January
<br />11, 1967, took action, in accordance with Section 35107
<br />et seq. of the Government Code, recommending to the City
<br />Council that in the event of completion of the "Dublin
<br />Annexation", all applicable City ordinances, codes and
<br />regulations should apply within the subject area, in-
<br />cluding but not limited to such items as the Zoning
<br />Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, Park Dedication
<br />Ordinance, Wale:: and Sewer Connection Ordinances (if
<br />applicable), Building, Electrical and Plumbing Codes.
<br />The Commission further recommends that every effort
<br />should be made to effect cooperative action with
<br />Alameda County which will result in an orderly
<br />transition of said area from Alameda County juris-
<br />diction to City jurisdiction.
<br />4a. V-66-51. Ad-Art. Inc.
<br />(:hatrman Antonini opened the p~iblic hearing on the application of Ad-Art, Inc.,
<br />1715 64th Street, Emeryville, for a Variance from Section 10.202 and 17.705,
<br />Ordinance No. 309, in order to erect an advertizing sign in connection with a
<br />neighborhood shopping center at 1755 Santa Rita Road, in a C-N District. Mr.
<br />Spink informed the Commission that the applicant had requested a continuance of
<br />this matter to the meeting of February 8, 1967. Upon motion of Commisstoner
<br />Carrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, it was determined to conti.mie
<br />this item, with the consent of the applicant, to the meeting of February 8, 1967.
<br />6a. Santa Rita Road. Buildin~se_tback and future atreet_width,
<br />At this point, Mr. Spink informed the Commission that several people were present
<br />in the audience who were interested in the discussion relative to the applic ation
<br />of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Article 18-A, Ordinance No. 309,
<br />establishing special building setback and future street width lines for Santa Rita
<br />Road. Mr. Spink asked for a continuance on this matter by request of the staff.
<br />Mr. Campbell stated that there are several exhibits available at City Hall for
<br />those persons interested in reviewing them and that a continuance would allow
<br />interested persons more time during which they could review these exhibits. Upon
<br />motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, it
<br />was determined to continue this matter to the meeting of February 8, 1967.
