Mr. Campbell also <br />presented and explained various charts showing the differences resulting <br />from shifting the right-of-way se shown on drawings. Several interested <br />persona were present in the audience, including Paul Zeanah, Bob Pope, <br />Ted Slozak; Jack Boatedt and George Oakes. Mr. Bostedt stated that the <br />plan line had been set by a tentative map some time ago. Mr. Oakes ob- <br />jected to any change in alignment. Upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, <br />seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by <br />unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 649 <br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for <br />an amendment to Article 18-A, Ordinance No. <br />309, establishing apecial building setback <br />and future street width lines for Santa Rita <br />Road, has come before this Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: to recommend to the City Council that specific <br />plan lines be set as per drawing marked LA2A. <br />There were no Communications. <br />8a. Tract 2842, D b V Builders. <br />Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended a recommendation <br />to the C1ty Council of approval with stated conditions. Mr. Dudley Frost <br />was present in the audience and concurred with the staff report. UPON <br />MOTION OF COTQiISSIONER JOHNSTON, 3ECONDED BY CQMMISSIONER ARNOLD, AND <br />CARRIED, IT WAS DETERMINED TO RBCOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT THE <br />TIME E%TENSIOII BB GRANTED WITH THB FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br />1. All conditions previously approved except Condition (6) ae <br />modified by this approval. <br />2. Condition (6) of the Planning Commission approval be <br />modified to read as follows: <br />8, Ordinance 358, the Planning Commission specifies <br />that a total underground system be installed with the <br />provision that the City Engineer should allow a reason- <br />able and logical transition between any existing stream- <br />lined facility and the full underground system. All <br />necessary street lighting facilities shall be provided <br />with underground service. <br />8b. Tract 2844. D ~ V Builders. <br />Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended denial of the request <br />for time extension on this tract. UPON MOTION OF CCluaissioNRR PLATO, SECONDED <br />BY COMMISSIONER JC4INSTON, AND CARRIED, IT WAS DETERMINED TO RECODIDpiND TO <br />THE CITY CO[TNCIL THAT THE REQUBST FOR TIME H7CTENSION FOR TRACT 2844 BE <br />DENIED. <br />8c. Tract 2904, D ~ V Builders. <br />Mr. Spink presented the staff report asking for a continuance of this <br />approval at the request of the applicant. UPON MOTION OF CHAIRMAN <br />ANTONINI, SBCONDED BY COMMISSIONER PLATO, AND CARRIED, IT WAS DETERMINED <br />TO CONTINUE THIS MATTER TO TBE MEETING OF MARCH 1, 1967. <br />12b. Budxet discussion. <br />Mr. Spink asked the Commission for comments regarding their desires for the <br />Planning program for the eoming year. An easel type stand for better dis- <br />play of material was suggested; as well as more briefing for new commissioners <br />as to their responsibilities. <br />2-8-67 <br />
