Mr. Campbell also presented and explained various charts showing the differences resulting from shifting the right-of-way se shown on drawings. Several interested persona were present in the audience, including Paul Zeanah, Bob Pope, Ted Slozak; Jack Boatedt and George Oakes. Mr. Bostedt stated that the plan line had been set by a tentative map some time ago. Mr. Oakes ob- jected to any change in alignment. Upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. RESOLUTION N0. 649 WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Article 18-A, Ordinance No. 309, establishing apecial building setback and future street width lines for Santa Rita Road, has come before this Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: to recommend to the City Council that specific plan lines be set as per drawing marked LA2A. There were no Communications. 8a. Tract 2842, D b V Builders. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended a recommendation to the C1ty Council of approval with stated conditions. Mr. Dudley Frost was present in the audience and concurred with the staff report. UPON MOTION OF COTQiISSIONER JOHNSTON, 3ECONDED BY CQMMISSIONER ARNOLD, AND CARRIED, IT WAS DETERMINED TO RBCOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT THE TIME E%TENSIOII BB GRANTED WITH THB FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1. All conditions previously approved except Condition (6) ae modified by this approval. 2. Condition (6) of the Planning Commission approval be modified to read as follows: 8, Ordinance 358, the Planning Commission specifies that a total underground system be installed with the provision that the City Engineer should allow a reason- able and logical transition between any existing stream- lined facility and the full underground system. All necessary street lighting facilities shall be provided with underground service. 8b. Tract 2844. D ~ V Builders. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended denial of the request for time extension on this tract. Tract 2904, D ~ V Builders. Mr. Spink presented the staff report asking for a continuance of this approval at the request of the applicant. UPON MOTION OF CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, SBCONDED BY COMMISSIONER PLATO, AND CARRIED, IT WAS DETERMINED TO CONTINUE THIS MATTER TO TBE MEETING OF MARCH 1, 1967. 12b. Budxet discussion. Mr. Spink asked the Commission for comments regarding their desires for the Planning program for the eoming year. An easel type stand for better dis- play of material was suggested; as well as more briefing for new commissioners as to their responsibilities. 2-8-67
