M I N U T E S <br />of <br />THE PLANNING COPAIISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />May 17, 1967 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order <br />at 8:02 P.M., on Wednesday, May 17, 1967, by Chairman Antonini. <br />ROLL CALL showed the following: <br />Present: Commissioner Arnold <br />Garrigan <br />Johnston <br />Plato <br />Chairman Antonini <br />Secretary Spink <br />Upon motion of CooQaiasioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, <br />the minutes of May 10, 1967 were approved as presented by unanimous vote. <br />4a. V-67-18. H. H. McCaslin. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of H. H. McCaslin, <br />5267 Crestline Way, for a Variance from Section 6.500, Ordinance No. 309, to allow <br />a patio cover to encroach into the required rear yard at the above address in an <br />R-1 District. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recosmended approval. <br />Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, and carried, <br />the public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of Commiea- <br />ioner Arnold, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following resolution was adopted <br />by unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 675 <br />WHEREAS, the application of H. A. McCaslin, 5267 Crestline Way, for <br />a Variance from Section 6.500, Ordinance No. 309, to allow <br />a patio cover to encroach into the required rear yard at <br />the above address in an R-1 District, has comae before this <br />Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: That the above named application be approved subject to <br />Exhibit "A". <br />4b. V-67-19. A. Stewart. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of A. Stewart, <br />2834 La Rhee Drive, San Jose, for a Variance from Section 7.500, Ordinance No. <br />309, to allow a reduction in required rear yard at 1109 Kottinger Drive in an <br />R-2 District. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended approval. <br />Mr. Stewart was present in the audience and concurred with the staff report. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Co®iasioner Garrigan, and <br />carried, the public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion <br />of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following resolution <br />was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 676 <br />WHEREAS, the application of A. Stewart, 2834 La Rhee Drive, San <br />Jose, for a Variance from Section 7.500, Ordinance No. <br />309, to allow a reduction in required rear yard at 1109 <br />Kottinger Drive in an R-2 District, has come before this <br />Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above named application be approved as shown on <br />Exhibit "A" and subject to plans submitted to the Commission. <br />4c. Z-67-22. A. Stewart. <br />The next item on the agenda was the application of A. Stewart, 2834 La Rhee Drive, <br />San Jose, for a Zoning Permit with site plan, landscape and architectural approval <br />to construct a duplex at 1109 Kottinger Drive in an R-2 District. Mr. Spink <br />presented the staff report which recoammended approval subject to stated conditions. <br />5-17-67 <br />
