Fairlands. <br />The next item on the agenda was the request for Tentative Map approval for an <br />area easterly of Tassajara Road and south of Route 50, including modification <br />to previously approved planned unit development. Mr. Spink informed the Com- <br />mission that all the materials had not been received from the applicant. The <br />Commission was asked to discuss and make a recommendation relative to the channel <br />alignment along US 50 from Tassajara Road to the Flood Control G-3 line. <br />.. UPON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER ARNOLD, SECONDED BY CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, <br />AND CARRIED, IT WAS DETERMINED TO RECCMMEND TO THB CITY COUNCIL THAT A CONCRETE <br />LINED OPEN CHANNEL WOULD 88 ACCEPTABLE AS PART OF TENTATIVE MAP APPROVAL. THE <br />CITY COUNCIL TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THE CITY WOULD ACCEPT THE CHANNEL FOR <br />MAINTENANCE. FENCING, LANDSCAPING, AND ACCESS FOR MAINTENANCE TO BE DETERMINED <br />AT A LATER DATE. Mr. George Oakes and Mr. Ted Fairfield were present in the <br />audience and displayed drawings relative to design of homes in the Planned <br />Unit Development. After further discussion, it was determined by the Commission <br />to set a special meeting for June 19, 1967, to discuss the location of mobile <br />homes, the map to be continued to June 28, 1967. Mr. Spink presented <br />the staff report which recommended that no specific action be taken. UPON <br />MOTION ~ COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER ARNOLD, AND CARRIED, <br />IT WAS DETERMINED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT NO SPECIFIC ACTION <br />BE TAREN TO ESTABLISH SPECIFIC DETAILED CONTROLS AND THAT THE SAN FRANCISCO <br />BAY WATBR QUALITY CONTROL BOARD BE ADVISED OF THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />REQUIREMENT, AND BE FURTHER ADVISED THAT THE CITY WOULD, SHOULD APPLICATION <br />BE MADE, ATTACH CONDITIONS NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, <br />AND WELFARE INCLUDING THOSE STATED IN THE SAN FRANCISCO WATER QUALITY CONTROL <br />BOARD'S ADOPTED MOTION OF MAY 18, 1967. <br />lOb. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended <br />a continuance of this item. Referrals from the Recreation and Park Commission. <br />The next item on the agenda was the referral relative to the Uniform Sign Poiscy, <br />City Parks. A memo of clarification from the Director of Recreation was <br />presented.
