NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the above application, using Concept #2 be approved subject to the following ednilftions: 1. That the permit shall be granted for a period of time not to exceed five years. 2. That should there be a par:cing problem created by the increased population, that the City Council andior Alameda County reconsider this particular site or make some effort to provide additional off-street parking on an adjoin- ing area. 3. That when the interim facility is relocated, that the County be responsible to restore the site bac:c to its original condition. 4. A site plan shaaing landscape and archi- tectural design be submitted to the Planning Commission for final approval. 5. That the parking area and site shall be as shown in Concept 1~?. 6. Vice-Chairman Plato opened the public hearing on the application of First Pleasanton Inveators, 582 Market Street, San Francisco, for an extension of one year of Che Conditional Use Permits UP-65-6 and UP-65-3 for tract signs, located southeast corner of intersection of State Route 580 and Santa Rita Road, and South side of Route 58 ), East of Santa Rita Road, respectively. There was considerable discussion about the Commission's precedence of refusing signs along Route 580. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, the public hearing was closed. Upon motion of Cormnissioner Carrigan, ep~oaded by Commissioner Gibbs, the following resolution was adopted with a vote as follows: AYES: Co®issioners Carrigan, Arnold, Gibbs NOES: Vice-Chairman Plato ABSENT: Chairman Antonini RESOLUTION N0. 741 WHEREAS, the application of First Pleasanton Inveators, 582 Market St., San Francisco, for an extension of one year of the Conditional Use Permits UP-65-6 and UP-65-3 for tract signs located near Route SSU, has come before this Commission, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RBSOLVED: that the above application be denied. 7. COP1tRJNICATIONS (a) Mr. Castro informed the Commission of a dinner meeting between the Recreation Commission and the Punning Commission, set for January 11, 1968, at Haps Restaurant, to discuss the programs and policies of both Commissions. (b) Mr. Castro reported to the Commission the desire of Galli Aomes to use shingles on all homes in Tract 2938, rather than half shingles and half sha:ces. After further discussion, the Commission asked Mr. Castro to report to Galli Homes their desire for 50% shingle roofs and 50% shake roofs. -2- 12-13-67
