NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above application, using Concept #2 <br />be approved subject to the following ednilftions: <br />1. That the permit shall be granted for a <br />period of time not to exceed five years. <br />2. That should there be a par:cing problem created <br />by the increased population, that the City <br />Council andior Alameda County reconsider this <br />particular site or make some effort to provide <br />additional off-street parking on an adjoin- <br />ing area. <br />3. That when the interim facility is relocated, <br />that the County be responsible to restore <br />the site bac:c to its original condition. <br />4. A site plan shaaing landscape and archi- <br />tectural design be submitted to the Planning <br />Commission for final approval. <br />5. That the parking area and site shall be as shown <br />in Concept 1~?. <br />6. That the parking area be paved with asphalt. <br />7. Site improvements and drainage plans shall <br />be subject to the approval of the Public <br />Works Director. <br />Sb. UP-65 _61 UP-65-3LFirst Pleasa_nton__Investors. <br />Vice-Chairman Plato opened the public hearing on the application of First <br />Pleasanton Inveators, 582 Market Street, San Francisco, for an extension <br />of one year of Che Conditional Use Permits UP-65-6 and UP-65-3 for tract <br />signs, located southeast corner of intersection of State Route 580 and <br />Santa Rita Road, and South side of Route 58 ), East of Santa Rita Road, <br />respectively. There was considerable discussion about the Commission's <br />precedence of refusing signs along Route 580. After further discussion, <br />upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, <br />the public hearing was closed. Upon motion of Cormnissioner Carrigan, ep~oaded <br />by Commissioner Gibbs, the following resolution was adopted with a <br />vote as follows: <br />AYES: Co®issioners Carrigan, Arnold, Gibbs <br />NOES: Vice-Chairman Plato <br />ABSENT: Chairman Antonini <br />RESOLUTION N0. 741 <br />WHEREAS, the application of First Pleasanton Inveators, <br />582 Market St., San Francisco, for an extension <br />of one year of the Conditional Use Permits <br />UP-65-6 and UP-65-3 for tract signs located <br />near Route SSU, has come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RBSOLVED: that the above application be denied. <br />7. COP1tRJNICATIONS <br />(a) Mr. Castro informed the Commission of a dinner meeting between the <br />Recreation Commission and the Punning Commission, set for January 11, <br />1968, at Haps Restaurant, to discuss the programs and policies of both <br />Commissions. <br />(b) Mr. Castro reported to the Commission the desire of Galli Aomes to <br />use shingles on all homes in Tract 2938, rather than half shingles and <br />half sha:ces. After further discussion, the Commission asked Mr. Castro <br />to report to Galli Homes their desire for 50% shingle roofs and 50% <br />shake roofs. <br />-2- 12-13-67 <br />
