M I N U T E S <br />of <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />January 17, 1968 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to <br />order at 8:00 P,M., Wednesday, January 17, 1968, by Chairman Antonini. <br />ROLL CALL showed the following; <br />Present: Commissioner Arnold <br />Garrigan <br />Gibbs <br />Plato <br />Chairman Antonini <br />Secretary Castro <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Plato, and <br />carried, the minutes of January 10, 1968, were approved as presented. <br />4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />(a) Mr. Castro stated he received a request from Mr. Hottel for an inter- <br />pretation of the parking requirements for single family housing, according <br />to Section 17.305 of the Zoning Ordinance. Chairman Antonini suggested <br />this item be considered after Sb. <br />(b) Mr. Castro asked the Commission to review Tentative Map, Tract 2842, <br />a revised plan from the original approved map, with smaller lot sizes. <br />This matter was considered under Item No. 12. <br />5. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />(a) UP-67-25, Stoneson Construction Comoanv. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Stoneson <br />Construction Corporation, 3150 20th Avenue, San Francisco, for a Conditional <br />Use Permit for approval of a temporary sales pavillion to be used for model <br />home display area. There was discussion as to a possible time limit for the <br />temporary structure. Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by <br />Commissioner Arnold, and carried, the public hearing was closed. Upon <br />motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antnnin3, the follow- <br />ing resolution was adopted by unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 746 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Stoneson Construction Corporation, <br />3150 20th Avenue, San Francisco, for a Conditional <br />Use Permit for approval of a temporary sales pavillion <br />to be used for model home display area, has come before <br />this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above application be approved with the follow- <br />ing conditions: <br />1. That the Use Permit is granted for the property <br />as described in the application and any attach- <br />ment thereto, and as shown on the plot plan <br />submitted, labeled Exhibit A. <br />2. That landscaping plans shall be submitted <br />subject to the approval of the Planning Director. <br />3. That the Use Permit be limited to a period of 2 <br />yearn. <br />Sb. 2-67-77, Bernard Gerton. <br />Next was the application of Curtis-Gerton Realty Company, 17401 Hesperian <br />Boulevard, San Lorenzo, for Site Plan and Architectural Approval for construc- <br />tion of a retail office complex at 818 Main Street. Mr. Castro stated <br />that the Commission had previously given approval to the Zoning Permit (Z-67-77) <br />on November 15, 1967. Mr. Castro gave a verbal staff report which listed <br />additional conditions, suggested by the Associate Civil Engineer. There <br />was considerable discussion concerning the proposed roof material. The <br />proposed use of exposed aggregate on public sidewalks was questioned for <br />
