<br />February 14, 1968
<br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order
<br />by Chairman Antonini at 8:00 P.M., on Wednesday, February 14, 1968.
<br />ROLL CALL showed the following:
<br />Present: Commissioner Garrigan

<br />Arnold

<br />Secretary Castro
<br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES
<br />The minutes of January 31, 1968, were corrected as follows: "Upon motion
<br />of Commissioner Gibbs, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, it was
<br />determined to approve the minutes of January 24, 1968, as presented."
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried,
<br />the minutes of January 31, 1968, were approved as corrected.
<br />5a. RZ-67-14, Plannins Commission.
<br />Chairman Antonini re-opened Che public hearing on the application of the Planning
<br />Commission for reconsideration of the Planning Commission decision for an amend-
<br />ment to Ordinance No. 309 amending the Zoning Map to zone portions of the area
<br />of Annexation 49 to (A) Agricultural, (R-1) Single Family and (C-T) Commercial
<br />Thoroughfare Districts. Mr. Castro recommended continuing the item to March
<br />13, 1968, pending a final decision on Annexation No. 56. UPON MOTION OF COM-
<br />MISSIONER GARRIGAN, SECONDED BY CBAIRMAN ANTONINI, AND CARRIED, IT WAS DECIDED
<br />TO CONTINUE RZ-67-14 TO THE REGULAR MEETING OF MARCH 13, 1968, PENDING THE
<br />OUTCOME OF ANNEXATION N0. 56.

<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Coatanzo
<br />Development Company, 2400 Almaden Boulevard, Union City, for an amendment to
<br />Ordinance No. 309, to rezone from Agricultural District to R-1, RG-15, and RG-25
<br />Districts, those properties described in Tentative Map 2855. Mr. Castro pre-
<br />sented the staff report with one condition. Mr. Coatanzo concurred with the
<br />report. Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Arnold,
<br />and carried the public hearing was Clbsed. Upon motion of Commissioner Arnold,
<br />seconded by Commissioner Plato, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous
<br />vote: RESOLUTION N0. 754
<br />WHEREAS, the application of Coatanzo Development Co.,
<br />2400 Almaden Boulevard, Union City, for an
<br />amendment to Ordinance No. 309, to rezone from
<br />A District to R-i, RG-15, and RG-25 Districts,
<br />those properties described in Tentative Tract
<br />Map 2855, has come before this Commission,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the Planning Commission does hereby
<br />recommend to the City Council that the
<br />above application be approved subject
<br />to the following condition:
<br />1. That said property be rezoned from
<br />the Agricultural District to R-1
<br />RG-15, and RG-25 Districts as de-
<br />scribed'on the area map submitted,
<br />labelled Exhibit A.
