8. That the Area lighter shall be modified in <br />design as per plans given to Union Oil Company on <br />January 10, 1968. <br />9. That the roof overhang and cap shall be <br />increased 6 feet, 4 feet 6 inches, respectively. <br />10. That the service station exterior materials <br />shall be as per description noted on the eleva- <br />tion plans. <br />11. That a revised landscaping plan be submitted <br />by Union Oil Company subject to the approval of the <br />Planning Director. <br />12. That the applicant shall provide 3 street trees <br />along Stanley Blvd, and Santa Rita. Rd. subject to <br />the approval of the City of Pleasanton. <br />13. That all planter areas shall be protected <br />by a 6 inch slumpstone curb. <br />14. That should the cedar shake roof as recommended <br />by the Planning Commission be disapproved by the <br />City Council, an alternate material may be approved <br />by the Planning Director. <br />15. A detailed site drainage plan must be sub- <br />mitted to and approved by the City Engineer prior <br />to the issuance of a building permit. <br />16. The lighting of said auto service station and <br />site shall be effected so as to, in the opinion of <br />the City Engineer, eliminate ali undesirable glare. <br />17. The operation of said auto service station <br />shall be restricted to the sale of automotive <br />products and the service and repair of motor <br />vehicles. <br />18. That trailer rentals and miscellaneous signs, <br />not related to the product being sold on the <br />premises shall be prohibited. <br />Sd.) UP-67-21, Union Oil. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Union 011 <br />Co. for a Conditional Use Permit under Section 12.101 for the construction of <br />a service station at the southeast corner of Santa Rita Road and Stanley <br />Boulevard. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Carri- <br />gan, and carried, the public hearing was closed. Upon motion of Commissioner <br />Arnold, seconded by Commissioner Plato, the following Resolution was adopted <br />by unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 760 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Union Oil Company for a Condi- <br />tional Use Permit (UP-67-21) under Section 12.101 <br />for the construction of a service station at the <br />southeast corner of Santa Rita Road and Stanley <br />Boulevard has come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above application be approved per Exhibit <br />"A" and Exhibit "B", and as shown on plot plan ele- <br />vation. <br />6c.)
