Request of Catholic Church. <br />Mr. Castro presented to the Commission a verbal request from the Saint Augus- <br />tine's Catholic Church requesting an extension to the conditions of approval <br />regarding landscaping. After consideration of the request, UPON MOTION OF <br />CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, AND CARRIED, IT WAS <br />DETERMINED THAT THE LANDSCAPING REQUIREP~NT, AS PER ZONING PERMIT (Z-67-27) <br />BE COMPLETED WITHIN THE NEXT SIX MONTHS, OR BY OCTOBER 12, 1968. <br />12e.) A lication of J. Bras for Dou Hunt e. <br />Mr. Castro advised the Commission of an app ication submitted by Mr. Bras <br />for a Zoning Permit with Site Plan and Architectural Approval for the con- <br />struction of a single family residence on an existing parcel, located on <br />Pinehill Lane. Mr. Castro further explained that the property owner, Mr. <br />Douglas Huntze, did not wish to submit design plans if.the proposed site would <br />be denied because it lacked fronting on a public street. Mr. Castro also <br />noted the private road was not currently improved, and that in the past each <br />property owner has been asked to dedicate his portion of right-of-way to the <br />City for the ultimate improvement of Pinehill Road. Mr. Campbell indicated <br />that the Public Works Department's position was Chat each homeowner should <br />dedicate street right-of-way to the City. A possible assessment district <br />for the area was discussed, but Mr. Fales stated that in the past the proposal <br />had met with resistance from the homeowners. Further discussion was postponed <br />until the application comes before the Planning Commission. <br />12f.) Request of MacKay Homes for Commission review of the Spanish street <br />names which had been suggested for Tract 2905. After discussion, the Commission <br />indicated they had no objection to the proposed street names. <br />The Commission expressed the desire to meet with the Council in a special <br />study session to determine a policy statement on home occupations.
