MINUTE S <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Multi-Purpose Room - Valley View School <br />480 Adams Court <br />September 25, 1968 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman <br />Antonini at 8:04 PM. <br />1. ROLL CALL <br />PRESENT Commissioner Arnold <br />Commissioner Carrigan <br />Commissioner Gibbs <br />Chairman Antonini <br />Secretary Castro <br />ABSENT <br />Commissioner Plato <br />Commissioner Plato arrived at 10:15 PM, and was not present to vote on any of the <br />resolutions. <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Carrigan, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, and carried, <br />the minutes of the September 11, 1968 meeting were approved as submitted. <br />4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Additions <br />13d. - Street Furniture <br />13e. - Question and Answer Session between City Council Advisory Committee on <br />General Plan Review, and the Planning Commission. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />a. RZ-68-8, Richard K. Tavlor <br />Application of Richard K. Taylor, for rezoning to Planned Unit District a portion <br />of Parcels 0 & P, Book 8, Page 75, Township of Pleasanton, or generally that property <br />located at the southwesterly quadrant of Interstate #580 and Foothill Road Inter- <br />change, containing approximately 24.8 acres, pending certification of annexation <br />proceedings now before the City of Pleasanton. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the Public Hearing. Mr. Castro explained the staff report. <br />Mr. Castro mentioned that the applicant had filed his petition for annexation of <br />the subject promptly to Pleasanton. But final word on this had not been received <br />yet from the Administrative office of the City. The Planning Commission was just <br />reviewing zone change and preliminarq development plans submitted for approval. <br />This information will then have to be reviewed by the City Council prior to final <br />plans being approved. Phase B is to be withheld pending the development of the <br />8toneridge Shopping Center. It is understood that this too will be under the <br />Planned Unit District. The Planning Director advised the Commission that the plans <br />are the same as submitted in May, 1968. <br />Mr. Norman Dyer, architect, was present and explained the development plans to the <br />Commissioners. The development of the road will not be for a few years and co- <br />operation is expected with the State Highway Department. The market study shows <br />- 1 - <br />
