This, Commissioner Garrigan complied with. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, and carried, the Public Hearing was closed. RESOLUTION N0. 829 A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton, recommending to the City Council the denial of Zone Change 68-9, filed by Dorothy N. Johnson. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton, has considered Zone Amendment Petition No. 68-9, filed by Dorothy N. Johnson to amend Sec. 4.102, Zoning Ordi- nance No. 520, to change the zone district designation from R-1 (Single Family) to RM- (Multiple Family) on property described as follows: Portion of Parcel 6 Map Book 946, Block 2528 Town of Pleasanton or that property commonly known as 3574 Vineyard Avenue. WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this petition and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings and documents and finds that one or more of the following conditions do exist: 1. That the proposed amendment will be contrary to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, 2. That the proposed amendment is not in the public interest and general welfare, 3. That the proposed amendment creates a less equitable condition for the community than now prevails. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council the denial of said zone change amendment as petitioned.
