CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> Riaht-of-Way Appraisals for NPID No. 3 Improvements <br /> at Santa Rita Road/I-580 Interchange and <br /> Hacienda Drive/I-580 Interchange <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 21st day of <br />November, 1989, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a <br />municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and <br />Roland H. Burchard & Associates (hereinafter referred to as <br />"Consultant" ) . <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing, engineering services and has offered its services for <br />the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their appraisal services. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant ' s Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />perform the services and furnish the materials, reports, maps, <br />and so forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", Proposal from Consultant, attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this <br />study, City shall provide title reports, plat maps, <br />construction information and necessary direction within a <br />reasonable time. The City will provide legal determinations for <br />the appraisal process. <br /> <br /> <br />
