PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2807 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR CASE PUD-85-17-1M APPLICATION OF <br />PROMETHEUS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Prometheus Development Company has applied for a major <br />modification to an approved development plan to allow <br />for the development of a 456 unit multi-family <br />residential complex, to be located on an approximately <br />16.3 acre site in the area bounded by Andrews Drive, <br />Owens Drive, Old Santa Rita Road, and Tassajara Creek; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-High Density Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 25, 1986, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of a proposed negative declaration <br />for Case PUD-85-17-1M after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed modifications <br />to be in the best community interests. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of Case PUD-85-17-1M, application <br />of Prometheus Development Co. for a major modification <br />to an approved development plan to allow for the <br />development of a 456 unit multi-family residential <br />complex to be located on an approximately 16.3 acre site <br />located in the area bounded by Andrews Drive, Old Santa <br />Rita Road and Tassajara Creek subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />That the development be substantially as shown on <br />the plans, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning <br />Department, except: <br />a. That an additional tot play area be added to the <br />site. The exact location and design of the <br />child play areas shall be submitted for review <br />to the Planning Director prior to the issuance <br />of any building permits. Play equipment for <br />both play areas shall be designed for use by <br />children 2 to 10, subject to the satisfaction of <br />the Planning Director. <br />- 1 - <br />
