PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2807 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE PUD-85-17-1M APPLICATION OF PROMETHEUS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY WHEREAS, Prometheus Development Company has applied for a major modification to an approved development plan to allow for the development of a 456 unit multi-family residential complex, to be located on an approximately 16.3 acre site in the area bounded by Andrews Drive, Owens Drive, Old Santa Rita Road, and Tassajara Creek; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential District; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 25, 1986, the Planning Commission recommended approval of a proposed negative declaration for Case PUD-85-17-1M after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed modifications to be in the best community interests. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Recommends approval of Case PUD-85-17-1M, application of Prometheus Development Co. for a major modification to an approved development plan to allow for the development of a 456 unit multi-family residential complex to be located on an approximately 16.3 acre site located in the area bounded by Andrews Drive, Old Santa Rita Road and Tassajara Creek subject to the following conditions: That the development be substantially as shown on the plans, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Department, except: a. That an additional tot play area be added to the site. The exact location and design of the child play areas shall be submitted for review to the Planning Director prior to the issuance of any building permits. Play equipment for both play areas shall be designed for use by children 2 to 10, subject to the satisfaction of the Planning Director. - 1 -
