PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2835 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-86-11, <br />APPLICATION OF VALLEY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL <br />WHEREAS, Valley Memorial Hospital has applied for rezoning from <br />"P" (Public and Institutional) to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Public and Institutional District and <br />development plan approval for an approximately 488,000 <br />sq. ft. medical center complex consisting of <br />offices/ambulatory care, and related facilities to be <br />constructed in four phases, to be located on an <br />approximately 27.7 acre site, located at the northwest <br />corner of the intersection of Santa Rita Road and West <br />Las Positas Boulevard; <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 10, 1986, after considering <br />all public testimony, relevant exhibits and <br />recommendations of the City staff, the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of a proposed negative <br />declaration for Case PUD-86-11; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the proposal to be <br />consistent with the General Plan of the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of Case PUD-86-11, Valley <br />Memorial Hospital as herein described subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That the overall master plan shall substantially <br />conform to the uses, plans and elevations on file <br />with the Planning Department. <br />2. That final design approval is granted for the Phase <br />I buildings only; each subsequent phase shall <br />require final design approval by the City Council. <br />The Phase I project shall conform to the plans and <br />elevations on file with the Planning Department <br />except that the Behavioral Medicine facility shall <br />be "flip-flopped" so that the open space <br />recreational/social area is positioned in the <br />interior of the site, the final design to be <br />approved by the Planning Director. <br />3. That the uses allowed shall be those detailed in <br />the project submittal master plan, including the <br />helipad, and such other uses found by the Zoning <br />- 1 - <br />
