In addition, a new <br />library facility will provide better library <br />services to the public since it will be larger than <br />the existing facility and will have better access <br />and parking facilities. <br />The use of the library will not interfere with the <br />existing municipal buildings and uses in the area. <br />Each of the buildings (City Hall, Police Station, <br />and the School District) has their own parking <br />facilities and access. In addition, the heaviest <br />use of the library will be in the evenings and <br />weekends and, therefore, it will not adversely <br />impact traffic in the area. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />The proposed library will comply with all <br />provisions of Title 18 of the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves Case <br />Pleasanton for a <br />library facility <br />at the northeast <br />Avenue and Old B <br />conditions: <br />UP-86-42, application of the City of <br />conditional use permit to establish a <br />on an approximately 4 acre site located <br />corner of the intersection of Bernal <br />~rnal Avenue subject to the following <br />1. That approval of this use permit is contingent upon <br />approval of the library design (Case Z-86-339) <br />2.
