PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2867 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR PUD-81-22-1M AS FILED BY MOZART <br />DEVELOPMENT CO./REGIS HOMES <br />WHEREAS, Mozart Development Company and Regis Homes has applied <br />for a major modification to an approved development plan <br />for a commercial/office/resdidential complex to allow <br />for a 520-unit condominium/apartment complex, to be <br />located on an approximately 20.6 acre site located <br />generally in the area of the northeast corner of the <br />intersection of Stoneridge Drive and Stoneridge Mall <br />Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial and offices/High Density <br />Residential and Open Space (Parks and Recreation) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 25, 1986, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-81-22-1M; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated August 29, 1986 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held November 25, <br />1986, at which time the public was given the opportunity <br />to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Mozart Development Co./Regis Homes for a <br />major modification to an approved development plan for a <br />commercial/office/residential complex to allow for a <br />520-unit condominium/apartment complex, to be located on <br />an approximately 20.6 acre site located generally in the <br />- 1 - <br />
