CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-428 <br /> <br /> A RESOI/3TIONADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> FIXING SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR <br /> MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL PERSONNEL FOR <br /> THE CITY OF PT2ASANTON, NOT INCLUDING THE <br /> CITY MANAGERAND CITY ATTORNEY, REPEALING <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-465 AND AMENDING THE <br /> BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the establishment <br /> and designation of certain employees as management <br /> and confidential employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended salary ranges and <br /> supplementary benefits for the period October 1, <br /> 1989 through September 30, 1990 for management and <br /> confidential employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has previously, by Resolution <br /> 88-465, adopted a compensation plan for management <br /> and confidential employees, which resolution should <br /> now be repealed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Amends the management and confidential employees' <br /> compensation plan for the purposes of: <br /> <br /> 1. Including within the Compensation Plan the <br /> revised management base salary plan, attached <br /> hereto and marked Exhibit A; <br /> <br /> 2. Increasing the salary range of confidential <br /> employees by 5.5%; <br /> <br /> 3. Adopting the following benefit changes: <br /> <br /> a. Increase the number of floating holidays <br /> managers receive annually from 2 to 3, <br /> effective July 1, 1990. <br /> <br /> b. Modify the vacation accrual schedule for <br /> Police Chief, Police Captain and Police <br /> Lieutenant to coincide with the vacation <br /> accrual schedule for Police Officers. <br /> <br /> <br />
