EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br /> CEQA FINDINGS <br /> <br /> For purposes of these findings, the revised <br />Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan, as described in the Final EIR <br />dated January, 1989, is referred to as the "Project," the <br />draft environmental impact report on the Project dated <br />September, 1989 and prepared for the City by the Planning <br />Department is referred to as the "DEIR," and Final EIR on the <br />Project dated January, 1989 and prepared for the City by the <br />Planning Department is referred to as the "Final EIR.' The <br />Final EIR consists of an addendum and response to comments <br />and incorporates by reference the DEIR. <br /> <br />I. FINDINGS READING SIGNIFICANT UNAVOIDABLE <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS <br /> <br /> Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines 15091, the City Council <br />adopts and makes the following findings regarding those <br />environmental impacts of the Project discussed in the DEIR <br />and on the Final EIR which were determined to be significant <br />unavoidable adverse environmental impacts of the Project: <br /> <br /> A. Land Use. <br /> <br /> 1. Facts. <br /> <br /> The DEIR provides at pages 10 and 11 that the <br />Project and subsequent development would modify the existing <br />character of the site from predominantly agricultural and <br />rural to urban mixed development, although lands to the north <br />and east of E1 Charro Road would not be affected by the <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
