densities, and increases the size of the Arroyo Mocho Channel <br />to provide wetland habitat, in addition to the numerous other <br />measures referred to previously in these findings; <br />implementation of this alternative is not necessary in order <br />to mitigate to an insignificant level the various effects of <br />this Project; <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of the No Project <br />Alternative would prohibit the development of over one <br />thousand housing units, and thus adversely impacting the <br />local housing supply; and <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of the No Project <br />Alternative would prevent the creation of over 2500 jobs, <br />thereby adversely impacting employment opportunities in the <br />city; <br /> <br /> e. The No Project Alternative would <br />eliminate a potential source of funding for school facility <br />improvements, roadway improvements, and improvements for <br />flood control, in addition to other public improvements; <br /> <br /> f. Preservation of open space or <br />agricultural uses is not a general plan objective for the <br />Project site, as the Project site is currently designated for <br />residential use, and such a residential use may be more <br />compatible with the surrounding developed or developing <br />properties than continuing agricultural or open space use; <br />and <br /> <br /> g. The social, economic and benefits to <br />be derived from the Project as discussed in the Statement of <br /> <br /> 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
