CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-425 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTINGTHE STONERIDGE DRIVE <br /> SPECIFIC PLAN FOR A 293 ACRE SITE LOCATED <br /> SOUT~ OF 1-580, WEST OF EL CHARRO ROAD, <br /> NORTH OF TRENERY DRIVE, AND EAST OF THE <br /> GATEWOOD APARTMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's General Plan calls for the preparation <br /> of a Specific Plan for the 293 acre area along the <br /> proposed Stoneridge Drive Extension; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 5, 1989 at <br /> which time the City Council reviewed the proposed <br /> Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan and considered all <br /> reports, documents, testimony, and recommendations; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the EIR indicates significant environmental effects <br /> would result from the project, as summarized in the <br /> Environmental Impact Findings, Exhibit "A", <br /> attached hereto and made part of this case by <br /> reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CEQA and state and local EIR guidelines adopted <br /> pursuant thereto require the City Council to make <br /> specific findings where an EIR identifies one or <br /> more significant effects which may result from <br /> approval of the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City Council finds that potentially <br /> significant environmental effects either (1) have <br /> been mitigated by project conditions of approval or <br /> modifications made to the project during the review <br /> process, (2) require mitigation by another public <br /> agency having jurisdiction, or (3) cannot be <br /> mitigated except by mitigation measures or <br /> alternatives found to be infeasible given economic, <br /> social, environmental, and other considerations. <br /> The facts and findings supporting these findings <br /> are summarized in the Environmental Impact <br /> Findings, Exhibit "A", which can be reviewed at the <br /> Planning Department, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, <br /> Pleasanton, California, and as are more fully found <br /> in the administrative record of this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City Counci~ finds that although most <br /> significant environmental effects have been reduced <br /> to a level of insignificance, the remaining, <br /> unavoidable, significant environmental effects are <br /> <br /> <br />
