CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-401 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTRACT <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PT.RASANTON <br /> AND THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA FOR ADDITIONAL <br /> LIBRARY SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's annual operating budget for fiscal year <br /> 1989-90 contains $50,000 to fund an Alameda County <br /> administered Booklegger Program, $25,000 to <br /> purchase additional adult books for the Pleasanton <br /> Library and $25,000 to purchase additional <br /> children's books for the Pleasanton Library; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to develop <br /> procedures to assure that the funds for additional <br /> library services are properly accounted for; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the agreement between the City of <br /> Pleasanton and the County of Alameda for additional <br /> library services, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 19, 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> Peg~O~.C/Ezidr~ <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
