EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> FAST AMADOR TRUNK SEWER REHABILITATION DESIGN <br /> <br />The East Amador Trunk Sewer was constructed in 1968, shall be <br />rehabilitated as follows: <br /> <br /> Task 1. Close-Circuit Television Inspection. Close-circuit <br /> television inspection shall be performed on the East Amador <br /> Trunk Sewer from DSRSD to Santa Rita Road (total 11,000 <br /> 1.f.). Brown and Caldwell will provide City with video tapes <br /> and logs. The purpose of the inspection is to verify <br /> location of side sewer connections, and to ascertain <br /> obstructions that may impede sliplining operation. This <br /> inspection will also record the condition of the trunk sewer <br /> upstream of Chabot Canal which was not previously evaluated. <br /> <br /> Task 2. Manhole Inspection. Inspect accessible manholes on <br /> East Amador Trunk Sewer from DSRSD to Santa Rita Road, which <br /> were not inspected in January 1989, by Brown and Caldwell. <br /> The inspection shall evaluate the condition of the manholes. <br /> <br /> Task 3. Corrosion Assessment for Trunk Sewer From Chabot <br /> Canal to Santa Rita Road. Identify up to 3 locations along <br /> the trunk sewer for sulfide sampling and flow depth <br /> measurement. Samples will be taken for three different flow <br /> conditions, such as early morning, early afternoon, and <br /> evening. Samples will be analyzed for the following <br /> information in the field: temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, <br /> total sulfide, and dissolved sulfide. Sulfide prediction <br /> equations and model will be used in evaluating and predicting <br /> future corrosion conditions in the trunk sewer. <br /> <br /> Task 4. Corrosion Assessment and Predesign Report. Review <br /> previous trunk sewer evaluation report to establish design <br /> parameters and corrosion assessment for trunk sewer from <br /> Chabot Canal to Santa Rita Road with City staff. Prepare a <br /> letter report summarizing the design parameters for the trunk <br /> sewer from DSRSD to Chabot Canal and the recommendation for <br /> rehabilitation of the trunk sewer from Chabot Canal to <br /> Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br /> City of Pleasanton <br /> Exhibit A <br /> August 24, 1989 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
