Landscaping and Lighting District 1994-1, Oak Tree Farm
Maintenance in this District includes the open space areas, entry features, firebreaks,
trees, shrubbery, groundcover and irrigation systems. The assessment for the year for
District 1994-1 (Oak Tree Farm) will remain at $473.66 per parcel per year. With a total
of 42 parcels in the District (one of these is a city-owned parcel, a sewer lift station), this
year's total assessment will be $19,885. This amount will be sufficient to fund the
maintenance of all common areas including water and electrical costs, County
assessment fees, City administration fees and sets aside in a replacement fund sufficient
reserves for the long-term replacement of plantings, irrigation systems, fencing, entry
signage and other District improvements.
The City bid the District Maintenance project in June 2005, and received three (3) bids.
The low responsive bidder was Del Conte's Landscaping, Inc. of Fremont, with a bid of
$8,256 for the annual maintenance of the District. To date, the contractor has
performed all of the specified maintenance work in a satisfactory manner. The City has
chosen to extend the contract for an additional year as provided under their contract:
The contract amount will be increased by 4% in accordance with the Construction Cost
Index to $9,015.60. This increase in cost of annual maintenance will not affect the
annual assessment.
Landscaping and Lighting District 1995-1, Moller Ranch ;
Maintenance in this District includes open space areas, entry features, firebreaks, trees,
shrubbery, groundcover and irrigation systems.
