This increase in cost of annual maintenance will not affect the annual <br />assessment. <br />Landscaping and Liqhtinq District 1993-1, Windsor <br />Maintenance in this District includes masonry walls, trees, shrubbery, groundcover, and <br />irrigation systems situated on the northeast side of Tapestry Way and Minton Court, Lot <br />A in the northwest corner of the subdivision, and also Lot C in the southwest corner of <br />the subdivision. The assessment for the coming year for District 1993-1 (Windsor) will <br />be the same as last year, $269.62 per parcel per year. With a total of 90 parcels in the. <br />District, this year's total assessment will be $24,265.80. This amount will be sufficient to <br />fund the maintenance of all common areas including water and electrical costs, County <br />assessment fees, City administration fees and sets aside in a replacement fund sufficient <br />reserves for the long-term replacement of plantings, irrigation systems, fencing, masonry <br />walls, signage and other District improvements. <br />The City bid the District maintenance project in June 2005, and received three (3) bids. <br />The low responsive bidder was Del Conte's Landscaping, Inc. of Fremont, with a bid of <br />$13,200 for the annual maintenance of the District. To date, the contractor has <br />performed all of the specified maintenance work in a satisfactory manner. The City has <br />chosen to extend the contract for an additional year as provided under their contract. <br />The contract amount will be increased by 4% in accordance with the Construction Cost <br />Index to $14,414.40. This increase in cost of annual maintenance will not affect the <br />annual assessment. <br />Landscaping and Liqhtinq District 1993-2, Bonde Ranch <br />Maintenance in this District includes entry features, open space areas, firebreaks, trees, <br />shrubbery, groundcover and irrigation systems. The assessment for the coming year for <br />District 1993-2 (Bonde Ranch) will remain at $257.22 per parcel per year. With a total of <br />103 parcels in the District (one of these aCity-owned parcel, the Bonde Ranch water <br />tank), this year's total assessment will be $26,489. This amount will be sufficient to fund <br />the maintenance of all common areas including water and electrical costs, County <br />assessment fees, City administration fees and sets aside in a replacement fund sufficient <br />reserves for the long-term replacement of plantings, irrigation systems, fencing, and <br />other District improvements. <br />The City bid the District maintenance project in June 2005, and received three (3) bids. <br />The low responsive bidder was Del Conte's Landscaping, Inc. of Fremont, with a bid of <br />$12,000 for the annual maintenance of the District.
