Dowling Associates, Inc. .`
Transportation Engineering • Planning• Research • Education
Proposed Project Mitigation Measure -The project shall pay its fair share of the cost
for the improvement cited in Mitigation 2.
Level of significance after mitigation: Less than significant.
Impact 3: The proposed location of the Ruby Hill conversion project access
driveway would provide inadequate sight distance.
Mitigation 3: Relocation of the project driveway easterly would provide additional
sight distance for vehicles exiting the project site. In addition, although it is not
required based on the level of service calculation, a westbound left-turn pocket on
Vineyard Avenue at the project driveway is recommended to prevent left-turning
vehicles from blocking the through traffic at the intersection. Construction of this
left-turn pocket would require removal of the existing landscaped median on
Vineyard Avenue west of Ruby Hill Boulevard.
Level of significance after mitigation: Less than significant.
Traffic Analysis Page /8
Ruby Hill Conversion, Pleasanton
