The acceptable level of service is based on the
City of Pleasanton's standard, which is LOS D for the intersections within the study
area.
The City of Pleasanton has developed a series of mitigation measures at one or
more of the analysis intersections. These mitigations relate to mitigation
assumptions developed for the General Plan Update Alternative B (refer to detailed
text in the Appendix), as well as those identified in other recent traffic analyses for
other developments in the City.
The intersection operations analyses indicate the proposed Ruby Hill conversion
project would not change the level of service at any of the study intersections. The
project would, however, add trips to the intersection of Stanley Boulevard and
Valley Avenue, which would be operating at unacceptable levels of service under
Existing+Approved and Cumulative base conditions. Table 9 summarizes the total
intersection volume, project trips, and project trip percentage at the intersection of
Stanley Boulevard and Valley Avenue under the project scenarios.
Traffic Analysis Page 16
Ruby Hill Conversion, Pleasanton
