Dowling Associates, Inc. ~
Transportation Engineering • Planning• Research• Education ~ ~ ~~
Cumulative General Plan (No Project) Conditions
Traffic volumes for the Cumulative (No Project) conditions were determined from
the City's travel demand model for the study intersections. These volumes and
intersection geometries are shown in Figure 5.
The Cumulative peak hour levels of service were calculated for the study
intersections. Table 7 presents the results of the level of service calculations
prepared for this analysis. The LOS calculation sheets for this analysis are
presented in the Appendix. These results indicate that the intersection of Stanley
Boulevard & Valley Avenue would operate unacceptably at LOS E during the PM
peak hour. The other study intersections would operate acceptably at LOS D or
better during the peak hours.
Table 7
Intersections Levels of Service
Cumulative No Proiect Conditions
Cumulative
Intersection Traffic Time Conditions
Control
Delay LOS
1 Stanley Bl. @ Valley Ave. Signal AM 35.3 D
2 Bernal Ave. @ Valley Ave. Signal AM 50.0 D
49.8 D
3 Vineyard Ave. @ Isabel Ave. Signal AM 12.8 B
15.1 B
4 Vineyard Ave. @ Ruby Hill B1.
