SITE DESCRIPTION <br />The subject site is a relative flat site located on the south side of Vineyard Avenue between the <br />Mitchell Katz Winery and the signalized entrance to Ruby Hill. It is approximately 36 acres in <br />size, a vineyard property, planted by Signature Properties with Ruby Hill development and <br />operated by Wente Brothers. Access to the site is provided by an existing driveway from Ruby <br />Hill Boulevard before the entrance kiosk. A seasonal drainage channel running in a north-south <br />direction bisecting through the property. <br />Surrounding uses are listed as the following: <br />North: Gravel Quarries (Alameda County) <br />East: Commercial (City of Livermore) <br />South: Vineyards and Ruby Hill Development <br />West: Vineyards and Ruby Hill Development <br />Site Location <br />PUD-93-02-09M/PCUP-182 Planning Commission <br />Page - 3 - <br />
