These types of construction equipment
normally do not produce impacts to the ground that would result in noticeable ground vibration.
The increase in ground vibration will be relatively minor and of short duration. Project
construction may expose the adjacent residents to construction noise if it occurs during sensitive
hours. The City's noise ordinance restricts construction hours and limits noise level. The
proposed development is proposed so that it would be in conformance to the City's noise
ordinance. Therefore, this would be aless-than-significant-impact.
c) Activities from the restaurant should not disturb adjacent residents due to its distance at 1,000
feet from closest residential properties and due to restriction of outdoor usage. A decorative wall
would be constructed by the outdoor patio area to buffer noise from outdoor activities, and that
the parking area would be near Vineyard with landscaping and existing vineyard to screen the
noise and light.
22
