Exhibit 6-A AHENDHENT NO. 6 - SANTA RITA ROAD/I-580 INTERCHANGE SCOPE OF SERVICES BACKGROUND During the course of project development~ the CONSULTANT has provided the services as contained in Amendment No. 3 to the Contract for Consulting Services dated October 18~ 1988~ as well as additional services which were outside the scope of that Amendment. The purpose of this AMENDMENT is to recog- nize~ accept~ and compensate the CONSULTANT for the addi- tional work performed that was outside the original project workscope and to authorize the CONSULTANT to proceed with additional work to complete the design of the Santa Rtta Road Interchange as described in this AMENDMENT. It is also recognized that the CONSULTANT has executed the work under an accelerated completion schedule and will continue to operated in this mode to complete the remainder of the assigned work. SCOPE OF SERVICES The CONSULTANTS work authorized by this AMENDMENT includes: TASK I--TL-2 RAMP REVISIONS Revise the design of the existing TL-2 Ramp to correspond to current Caltrans standards for divergence angle and super- elevation. The ramp shall also be modified from a two-lane to a three-lane configuration. TASK 2--WESTBOBND DIAGONAL ON-RAMP TR-3 RAMP The CONSULTANT shall add the westbound diagonal on-ramp to the final design plans. Work shall include preparation of alignment~ drainage~ lighting, grading, paving, signals, signing, and striping plans. Work shall be incorporated into the final interchange design. TASK 3--PROPOSED ADJACENT IMPROVEMENTS Coordinate design elements and activities with the adjacent improvements proposed for the Shell gas station site and the McDonalds site. The CONSULTANT shall review plans for these sites to insure that they are coordinated with the current interchange design.
