We want to
thank all of you.
We have received many telephone calls and comments from other citizens about the
many improvements taking place. Keep up the good work.
Of chief concern, right now, is that of burials and people wishing to buy plots. We know
you are working on establishing rules, regulations, and fee structures, but time is of the
essence
One of the next steps is that of making a name change. We feel it would be most
appropriate to use............"Pleasanton Pioneer Cemetery", since the City's History can
be viewed with just a simple walk. This will be discussed at a future Park and Rec.
meeting.
We aze grateful to Lisa Hagopian for making improvements so quickly. And, we
appreciate the sincere interest and responses of Julie Yuan-Ntiu in formulating the options
and responsibilities of this new cemetery within the City's structure.
We look forwazd to future discussions with the City Staff and the Park and Recreation
Commission
Sincerely yours,
-~
( t~~ ;,~,:~~
~ rev
Chris Beratlis, Chairman
(Howazd Neely, Sec.)
