~,~¢~,,,,,~~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99-13 1 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF <br /> CITIZENS' OPTION FOR PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAM <br /> FUNDS AS RECOMMENDED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 26, 1999, the Chief of Police presented a report <br /> (SR 99:297) describing the recommendations for use of Citizens' Option for Public <br /> Safety (COPS) funds received from the State, as outlined in Section 30061 of the <br /> Government Code and in accordance with AB 1584. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby approves the recommendations for expenditures of COPS <br /> funds which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 26, 1999 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ~'eggy//L.
