Project Details <br />1. Project Title: Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station Intermodal and <br />Streetscape Improvement Project <br />2. Location: DublinlPleasanton BART Station property and <br />area south of the station bounded by Chabot Drive, <br />Gibralta Drive and Hacienda Drive in the City of <br />Pleasanton <br />4. Project Description: <br />Improvements under the project are being implemented to enhance the <br />connectivity between jobs, housing and transit in the area immediately adjacent <br />to the south of the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station. Improvements are <br />designed to: <br />• support transit-oriented development projects to increase regional transit <br />ridership; <br />• encourage pedestrian travel to and from the BART station, as well as <br />within Hacienda Business Park; <br />• enhance the public realm to encourage walking, biking and us of public <br />transit; <br />• increase the access to the BART station and, in particular, increase the <br />opportunities for, and improve the integration of, non-SOV access to the <br />BART station; <br />• improve the connectivity for those arriving to BART between BART and <br />their arrival mode and for those departing from BART between BART and <br />their next mode or final destination; <br />• improve station area design to highlight BART connectivity to a full range <br />of commute mode choices including: all local/regional bus services <br />serving the station, public and private shuttles, rideshare, taxis, bikeways <br />and pedestrian access; <br />
