4y~~sAN~°~ CITY of PLEASANTON <br />.~, <br />~~~° Planning Commission <br />.~ .o• <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D aTe ; March 25, 1970 <br />Time ; 8:35 PM <br />F'IOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />REFERRALS FROM PUD-69-8, First Pleasanton Investors - appli <br />CITY COUNCIL cation to rezone by amendment to the origins <br />PUD from the RM-2500 and R-1-6500 Districts <br />to the C-F and RM-2000 Districts, that prop- <br />erty described as Parcel 2-9 of Assessor's <br />Map Book 946, Block 1101 containing 11.7 <br />acres, more or less, and a portion of Parcel <br />6, Assessor's Map Book 99-B, Block 3950, <br />Page 1, containing 9.1 acres, more or less, <br />or more commonly known as that property <br />immediately south of Highway ,1580 and east <br />of Tassajara Road, Pleasanton. <br />At the request of the application this <br />matter was continued to April 8, 1970. <br />REVIEW OF C-N This item was brought up for clarification <br />ZONING FOR THE purposes. <br />MACKAY DEVELOPMENT <br />The Planning Director related to the Commiss <br />that in essence, the City Council denied the <br />application of MacKay Homes for the C-N <br />development they were requesting within <br />Tract 2905, and which the Planning Commissio <br />gave their endorsement to on January 14, 197 <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield was present and explained <br />his position. He was in disagreement with <br />Mr. Castro's interpretation of the denial <br />by City Council. <br />Some further disoussion ensued, with the <br />Commissioners deciding to report back to <br />Council in the form of a motion that an <br />anchor tenant not be a requirement, and that <br />the size of the center is understood to be <br />6.5 acres net and that zoning be established <br />An executive session was held at this point <br />wherein the Commissioners conducted a priva <br />session. <br />----~ <br />ADJOURNMENT The~^re u a-r--~a djou~' d at 10:30 <br />i'C' ~ ~. <br />RicarHo J.
