(Commercial Service) District, that property
described as Lot 32, Tract 2527, Mission
Park; said property generally located on
the southeast corner of Sonoma Drive and
Sunol Boulevard.
The Planning Director stated that he had
no objections to the request, and that the
use is what the Commission had recommended
for the C-S District on Sonoma Drive.
But, The City Council had passed a resoluti
recommending that that district be re-
classified to the Study District.
The Public Hearing was opened by Acting
Chairman Pons .
Mr. Raymond D. Young was present and gave
the Commissioners some information regarding
his operation. There will be approximately
10 dog runs, none of which will be outside.
Some boarding will take place, but only
because of illness of the pet. No cremation
will be done on the. premises. The remains
will be placed in fiberglass containers and
taken to a commercial crematory.
There was some discussion regarding egress
and ingress to the premises. Mr. Young
requested that these entrances be on Sunol
Boulevard. However, in the filing of the
minor subdivision, the Public Works Depart-
ment has raised objections to having any
ingress or egress on Sunol Boulevard. It is
their feeling that these openings should be
on Sonoma Drive.
It was felt that this matter should be
postponed until the resolvement of the
egress and ingress to the property was re-
solved at the time of the minor subdivision
meeting. Accordingly, this matter was
continued to April 8, 1970;
- 4 -
