No. 1008 <br />Commissioners Present: Antonini, Gibbs, <br />Pereira, Pons and Chairman Garrigan. <br />Commissioners Absent: None. <br />No minutes were submitted for approval. <br />Wallace H. and Mary E. Mayer - application Resolution: <br />to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single Family) Seconded: <br />District to the 0 (Office) District that Ayes: <br />property described as Parcel 4, Block 127, Noes: <br />Book 94, of the Alameda County Assessor's Absent: <br />Office, said property generally located at Abstain: <br />1072 Division Street, Pleasanton. <br />The Public Hearing was opened by Chairman <br />Garrigan. <br />.The Planning Director explained the staff's <br />!position why they feel this application <br />'should be denied. <br />i <br />Mr. John Corley, representing the applicant, <br />was present and spoke in favor of the <br />application. <br />The Planning Director, in rebuttal, stated <br />that to preserve the Central Business Dist- <br />rict it is essential to contain the office <br />district within the C.B.D., utilizing the <br />perimeter of that use with multiples. <br />After further deliberation, the Public <br />Hearing was closed. <br />Both Commissioners Antonini and Gibbs <br />concurred with the findings contained in the <br />staff report. Commissioner Pereira had no <br />comments to add. <br />1 <br />
