4y$ASAJV jD,L T 0 <br />CITY of PLEASAN N <br />~ './ . ~ <br />`~ ~~~° Planning Commission <br />`~LMfD e <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />~GtB ~ June 10, 1970 <br />Time : 8:10 PM <br />PIOCB: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Mr. Jack Bostedt, representing the applicant s <br />engineer, was present to answer any ques- <br />tions that might be directed to him on this <br />matter. <br />The matter of park dedication had also been <br />resolved as per discussion with the Directo <br />of Parks and Recreation. <br />There being no further testimony, a reso- <br />lution recommending approval of Final Map <br />~i~3173 - Falender Homes - was entered and <br />passed subject to conditions of Planning <br />and Public Works Departments. <br />MATTERS FOR Letter from City of Fremont regarding a <br />INFORMATION OF joint land use plan for the Niles Canyon <br />COMMISSION area - This was a communication from the <br />City Council to the Recreation and Parks <br />Commission and Planning Commission request- <br />ing their views on participation in any <br />program for the preservation and enhancement <br />of the Niles Canyon area as a Fr ime recreati <br />and leisure area. <br />The Commissioners felt that the question was <br />a valid one, and fully endorsed the plan, <br />being willing to volunteer the services of <br />representatives from Pleasanton, but that <br />financial support would be questionable at <br />this time. <br />The results of the brightness readings of <br />signs of the Pleasanton Hotel, Lou Frank <br />Realty and Robo Car Wash and Union Oil <br />Station, were given to the Commission. All <br />signs are in accordance with the ordinance. <br />It was felt that perhaps the ordinance <br />should be reviewed and that perhaps be <br />revised to lower the number of foot lamberts <br />permitted for each sign. <br />- 6 - <br /> <br />
