With <br />this added development, this suggestion <br />might be a valid one. The Director of Public <br />Works was directed to look into this matter. <br />The Public Hearing was closed by Chairman <br />Garrigan. <br />A resolution recommending approval of this <br />application, subject to certain conditions <br />imposed by the Public Works and Planning <br />Departments, was entered and passed. <br />Immediately following this application, <br />Mr. F. Raymond Young, the applicant, spoke <br />requesting that the Commission reconsider <br />the condition it imposed of requiring a <br />five-year time limit and review on this <br />application. Mr. Young felt that because <br />of the extensive investment involved, it <br />would be difficult to impose a time limit <br />on his application. <br />His request was received by the Commission. <br />MATTERS FOR The Planning Director, before transmitting <br />COMMISSION'S REVIEW to the City Manager the motion passed by <br />the Planning Commission at the meeting of <br />May 27, 1970, regarding their feelings <br />on interim uses for industrially zoned lands <br />wished to clarify that motion.
