Mr. Gerald Robinson, 7783 Capewood Place, who owns property adjacent to the proposed school, stated he is in favor of the school provided all trees and open space are kept intact. A Mr. Browning, Suffolk Way, who has a st in this type of school, spoke in favor of this kind of school. Mr. Don Kush, 4917 Treewood Court, stated that based upon the reputation of this school in other areas and the behavior of the children, he is in favor of permitting this school. Mr. Don Evers, 7761 Capewood Place, an adjacent property owner, spoke in favor of the school provided the trees are left in place. Mr. Lafayette, 5137 Foothill Road, raised the question of whether or not this prop- erty was in Annexation No. 64, presently in the process of being annexed to the City. After some discussion, Mr. Garrigan called attention to the fact that the application before the Planning Commission tonight was for a prezoning and conditional use permit. Those speaking in opposition to the propos private school are as follows: Mr. Patrick Dunn, 7187 Flagstone, said the real estate agent for the school gave neighbors the alternative of the school or apartments. He called it an "implied threa When he bought his home, he understood this was zoned for single family type residences only. Mr. Dunn further stated he felt there would be a traffic problem and ques- tioned the need for such a school in this area, and that it was a commercial venture - 7 - it ~~
