.4~'~ y <br />~sAN~° CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ .~ • • <br />.~ <br />`~ ~*° Planning Commission <br />~MMfD ~ <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING, <br />Date : July 22, 1970 <br />Time : 7:3o PM <br />PIOCB; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />A resolution recommending approval of RZ-70- <br />was entered and passed. <br />REZONING REQUEST Castlewood Properties - application of the <br />RZ-70-10, Continued City Council of the City of Pleasanton to <br />to October 14, 1970, initiate a S (Study) District to be applied <br />to that property located southeasterly of <br />the intersection of Bernal Avenue and <br />Foothill Road and currently zoned C-C (Com- <br />munity Commercial), C-N (Commercial Neighbor <br />hood) District and C-0 (Commercial Office) <br />District. <br />It was decided to continue this item to <br />October 14, 1970. <br />ZONING ORDINANCE Sec. 8.104.3 and 8.105.3, Zoning Ordinance <br />AMENDMENT No. 520 - application of the Planning <br />Approved, Res. No. Commission of the City of Pleasanton to add <br />to Sec. 2-7.20, subsection 3a, Light Indus- <br />trial District and to Sec. 2-7.21, subsecti <br />3a, Light Industrial District and to also <br />amend Sec. 2-7.22 to include the Light <br />Industrial (or L-I) District. <br />The Planning Director advised the Commission <br />that the ordinance amendment was in keeping <br />with the previous discussions held on the he. <br />being suggested for the Light Industrial Dis <br />rict. He further submitted that the languag <br />creating the Light Industrial District would <br />be similar to that which is now applicable <br />to the General Industrial District, and <br />recommended approval, with the City Attorney <br />drafting the necessary language. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Pereira, sec- <br />onded by Commissioner Pons, and carried, <br />that the Public Hearing be closed. <br />A resolution recommending the amendment of <br />Sections 2-7.20 and 2-7.21 Subsections 3a, <br />and also Sec. 2-7.22 to include the Light <br />Industrial (or L-I) District, was entered <br />and passed. - 10 - <br />Resolution: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />
