4y$~,saN~oy <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~. ~~ o <br />.~.:o..~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DCte : September 10, 1970 <br />Time : 8:45 PM <br />f'IaCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Conditional Use Permit and zoning permit <br />for McDonnell & Associates - The City <br />Attorney advised the Commission that it <br />would be necessary to temporarily revoke the <br />permits given to the applicant as no annexa- <br />tion agreement had been worked up with <br />McDonnell & Associates. <br />This procedure is a matter of formality in <br />order that the annexation arrangements could <br />be completed. <br />The Commission was advised to reschedule <br />the hearing on the conditional use permit <br />and design approval for the next meeting, <br />which would allow the City sufficient time <br />to take care of the annexation agreement. <br />A motion was entered and passed to that <br />effect. <br />REFERRALS FROM CITY Application submitted by Raymond D. Young to Resolution: x <br />COUNCIL include the balance of those properties Seconded: x <br />within the immediate vicinity. Council's Ayes: x x x <br />desires are for the Commission to determine Noes: <br />whether all of the properties should be unde Absent: x x <br />the Commercial Service District, or be re- Abstain: <br />tained in the Commercial Freeway District. <br />The Planning Director explained to the <br />Commission the reasons why Council referred <br />this matter back to them for their position <br />not only on the zoning for Dr. Young's <br />property, but also what the zoning should <br />be for the remainder of the parcel. <br />Discussion followed. <br />It was resolved that the Planning Commission <br />recommends to City Council to uphold the <br />previous approval given to Dr. Young; in <br />addition, the remainder of said parcel <br />bounded by Santa Rita Road, the Arroyo del <br />Valle and Western Pacific Railroad right-of <br />way, be also recognized in the C-S District <br />- 7 - <br />
