4y~~sAN~°~ f P EASANTOIV <br />CITY o L <br />.~; <br />.~ <br />~~~° Planning Commission <br />`~LMiO t <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DG?8 :October 13 , 1970 <br />Time : 8:10 PM <br />PIQCe;Pleasanton Justice Court <br />MATTERS INITIATED <br />BY COMMISSION <br />MEMBERS <br />town with the same type of signs <br />which are in violation of the <br />ordinance. <br />Commissioner Pereira indicated his <br />concern over the fact that the man <br />who is responsible for the break- <br />down of communications was not <br />present. <br />It is clear that the fault can be <br />to Mobil Oil. <br />Commissioner Hirst was very emphatic <br />in his remarks and feelings regardin <br />the breakdown of communications and <br />apparent lack of concern on the part <br />of Mobil Oil. <br />From further discussion it appeared <br />that a Mr. Kamal Neimat, Field Engi- <br />neer, seemed to be the man responsib e <br />for the problem. <br />Commissioner Hirst further stated t t <br />it was only a question of having <br />understanding for the position the <br />lessee was in, that curbed the <br />Commission from revoking the permit <br />that evening, and... <br />It was finally decided that this <br />amtter would be continued two weeks <br />to October 27, to allow Mobil Oil t <br />make a suitable rekiuttal to the <br />questions raised by the Commission. <br />The Commissioners expressed concern <br />for the recent number of unauthoriz <br />signs that have been erected in the <br />City. They are: <br />1. Rod's Hickory Pit <br />2. Bella's Delicatessen <br />3. Shell Station at Vineyard & Fir <br />Cherbrook Development Co. had their <br />signs at that station advertising. <br />- 6 - <br /> <br />
