4~~~s""~~y CITY of PLEASANTON
~ ~'i .
`~ ~~~~° Planning Commission
~wrso s
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
~ Ot8 : November 10, 1970
Time : 8:35 PM
PIG C8; Pleasanton Justice Court
Commissioner Pereira 's opinion was that
because of the character of the hill and the
desire to create the design to presei~re it,
perhaps the RM District might be the answer
but this would have to be held to some
reasonable minimum. Perhaps a rendering fro
the floor of the Valley looking up would
be a desirable thing to have in order that
the homeowners in Mission Park would have a
clearer idea of how the Hill would look to
them.
Mr. Ray Feichtmeir of Tecton Company stated
that his organization has already expended
$5,000 and would require something concrete
at this point. He stated he would communi-
cate with the staff and is willing to give
cooperation in every way possible.
Commissioner Pons stated that he could
visualize some townhouses, split levels or
perhaps a garden court type development.
Basically, the Commission wished to see as
little of the Hill developed. Discussion
followed. The Commission expressed con-
cern for the bluff area.
In essence, the Commission wished to maintai
low density, to preserve the Hill and keep
the open space.
Mr. Feichtmeier indicated that he would be
in touch with staff.
TENTATIVE SUBDIVISIO Tentative Tract Map ~~3256 - Longview, Unit
MAPS
Continued indefinitely.
1
~~~
d
- 10 -
