The present owners of the shopping center site presented a letter to the department requesting a continuance of this item. This extension was granted and the new hearing date was set for January 12, 1971. GENERAL PLAN Fairlands Study - application of the AMENDMENT Planning Commission to review and/or amend GP-70-2, Continued the General Plan for the area generally to Feb. 9, 1971. encompassed by the southwest quadrant of Intersta to Freeway ~~580, Tassajara Road and Santa Rita Road; also those properties fronting on the west side of Santa Rita Road north of the Arroyo Mocho Canal. Said Gener 1 Plan review is to reevaluate the existing zoning that is now applicable to those properties within the City Limits, as well as to reevaluate the land use recommendation offered by the General Plan. The staff advised the Commission that the developer was coming in with a development, therefore, it was felt that prior to acting on this amendment, the Commission would want to see what is being proposed. This item is being continued to February 9, 1971. P.U.D.
