He felt that the RM-25 District is the <br /> preferable one for this vicinity, as the <br /> RM-4 zoning would be too broad for the area <br /> in question. <br /> Chairman Carrigan also felt that the RM-25 <br /> district would be the ap propriate one. <br />A resolution was then passed, recommending <br />Council approval of RZ-70-17 for 17.45 ac. <br />of Castlewood Enterprises property, as <br />follows: 5.8 ac. C-N, 1.0 ac. 0, and <br />10.65 ac RM-25. <br />PLANNED UNIT The Tecton Company - application to rezone <br />DEVELOPMENT from the A (Agricultural) District to the <br />PUD-70-2, Continued PUD (Planned Unit Development) District, tha <br />to March 9, 1971. property described as Parcel 5-13, Block 257 <br /> of Book 946 of the Alameda County Assessor's <br /> Office, containing 21 acres, more or less; <br /> said property generally located on the east <br /> side of Sunol Boulevard and north of the <br /> Mission Park development. Said PUD is to <br /> contain 168 multiple units. <br />In accordance with the staff report for <br />March 9 from the Planning Department, the <br />Commission was asked to look at the prelimi <br />plan and if it met with their approval, <br />direct the applicant to provide a tentative <br />snap and then final development plans. <br />Present to speak for the application were <br />Mr. Ray Feichtmeier and Mr. Carl Langeberg <br />of The Tecton Company. <br />Slides were presented of some of their other <br />developments on the Peninsula, which carried <br />a much higher density. These slides showed <br />the units from various angles, indicated the <br />type of landscaping utilized, etc. Also, <br />a model of the Pleasanton development was <br />presented and slides of this model from the <br />various angles were also presented. <br />- 8 - <br />
