The additional space will go for more space for the patients and expan- sion of the recreation rooms. The bulk of the added space, however, would go for the two bedroom patients. Considerable discussion followed. After further deliberation, a resolution recommending approval of RZ-71-1, from the RM-4 District to the P District for 1.63 ac. and with the remainder of the parcel not included in this rezoning, to remain in the RM-4 District. This resolution received a 3-2 vote in favor of the rezoning, with the two dissenting votes coming from Commissioners Pons and Woo Commissioner Pons felt he could not endorse this application that he felt concern for the remaining RM-4 portion not being rezoned that there will be problems in the future. Commissioner Wood expressed a similar conce that he did not like the idea of splitting the RM-4 parcel, which would cause problems in the future. REZONING INITIATION Foothill Road Rezoning - application of the RZ-70-17, Approved, Planning Commission for an amendment to Res. 1068 Ordinance No. 520 assigning specific zoning districts in accordance with the Pleasanton General Plan as amended by Resolution 70- 1043 to an area containing approximately 17.45 acres, and located generally southeast of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road, Pleasanton.
