Priority agenda i <br />should also be submitted. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY <br />COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Chairman Garrigan wished to clarify his <br />position taken regarding Heritage Valley. <br />Apparently the applicant did not quite <br />understand what the Commission meant when <br />they indicated disappointment in his design <br />presentations for the tentative stage. <br />It was felt that this matter should be <br />(placed on the May 25 agenda under Matters fo <br />.Commission's Review. <br />A resolution was also passed commending the <br />Recording Secretary, Yvonne McFadden, for <br />her cooperation and good work in the time <br />that she has worked with the Commission. <br />Mrs. McFadden, will be taking a leave of <br />absence from her job. <br />The City Attorney was requested to look into <br />initiating an ordinance to protect old, larg , <br />healthy trees that may be on private propert <br />and in danger of being cut down. <br />The staff was requested to look into the <br />situation at the Las Positas model home dev- <br />elopment regarding the flags and banners, <br />which generally is not permitted. Also, the <br />banners and flags advertising the Stoneridge <br />shopping center future site. <br />Z <br />
