4~~,~,saNToy <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />y ~~~ • <br />.~ <br />~~° Planning Commission <br />~wrso s <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date ; May 11, 1971 <br />Time : 8:0o PM <br />Place: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSIO This was a request from Singer Housing Co. <br />REVIEW pertaining to their Las Positas development <br />off Santa Rita Road. In their approval, the; <br />were required to utilize 15-gal. size trees <br />for their park areas. They have presented a <br />revised proposal utilizing about 24 specimen <br />size Japanese Pine trees. <br />The Commission requested staff to determine <br />what size the specimen trees actually will <br />be before giving their approval. Thfs item <br />was then tabled for another meeting. <br />REFERRALS FROM Re: the sanitary land fill applications befo <br />87At~tFnA .a.~11~'!'v the County 1) on Croak Road and the other <br />off Vineyard Avenue, Pleasanton. Both these <br />applications were turned down. <br />However, Commissioner Hirst advised that it <br />would probably be to the advantage of the <br />City to keep in close contact with Alameda <br />County as he understands that additional <br />applications for sanitary land fill opera- <br />tions will be coming in. <br />REFERRALS FROM Edward Schlies - Memorandum from City Mena <br />CITY COUNCIL requesting Planning Commission to consider <br />RZ-71-2, Modified per certain modifications to their original <br />Council's recommends- approval given under Resolution No. 1074. <br />tions, Res. 1089. <br />Mr. John Corley was present at the meeting <br />and advised the Commission that the main <br />concern was the effect this Office zoning <br />would have on the downtown district.
